Nygel King '19 Recruiting Profile

    I'm Nygel King, a student at School of the Arts in Rochester, NY. I am an orchestra major there; I play the cello. My college aspirations  is to make it to college of course, but mostly to become a carpenter or an engineer if I don't become a professional athlete.  I started playing lacrosse in the 8th grade. My football career isn't going as planned so I decided to drop that sport and play volleyball in the fall. I started goalie for 2 seasons straight and this season coming up will be my 3rd consecutive season playing lacrosse. I am a good candidate for a college level team because I'm a "package deal". I can show leadership on and off the field of play. Ever since my rookie season I was a natural player at one of the hardest positions on the field! If indeed a college scout decides to watch my highlights and mistakes or look over my profile and what I have to offer, you wont be disappointed. I'm different from other recruits because for one, I don't just play the game because I want to, I play for a better understanding of the sport and to become a more fit and healthy person. I would like to escalade my talents to a college level to prove some people wrong and that I'm actually a decent player and for more experience. This season starts in March and I plan on posting more about how my season is going and show what I can do as an athlete on the field and what I can do in and out of the goal. My grades aren't good and I'm trying to change that slowly; my grades have progressed since the first marking period.
