Camden Hughes '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Camden Hughes, a scholar/athlete from Durham, NC and my goal is to play college lacrosse. I'm a strong, athletic 2-way midfielder with high field IQ and I'm an aggressive play-maker.  In addition to lacrosse, I played many sports as a young kid (swimming, soccer, track & field, golf and tennis), but lacrosse was the sport that I am the most passionate about.  I love the lax workouts, the strategy of the game, and most of all, I love being a leader on the field with my teammates and fighting for the win.

I also apply my strong work ethic to school. I’m a straight "A" student at Durham Academy, which is a private preparatory school in Durham, NC. The academics are demanding, but as an athlete, I am learning to manage my time carefully and study efficiently. I’m looking forward to being a scholar/athlete in college one day and I know my hard work will continue to pay off.

On a personal level, I have a close family. My parents are both hard-working professionals and athletes and I’ve learned a lot from them. I love traveling adventures with my family, woodworking and listening to music in my spare time.
