Samuel Lewis '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sam Lewis, I will graduate in 2023 and am a left handed attack and midfielder from Council Rock High School North in Newtown PA. I play club lacrosse for Team 11, coached by North Carolina Alumni and All American, Joey Sankey and box lacrosse for Penn Lax All Stars coached by Adam Mueller, 18yr MLL player and coach, and Tom Slate,15 year MLL player and coach. 

I am currently a 4.0 student and was named team captain for next year as a Junior. I’m 6’1” tall and 180 lbs. Although I am on the first team midfield for my high school team, I am also on the man up, man down, take faceoffs, play LSM when needed, and play defense. I rarely came off the field as a sophomore. When Team 11 needed an added scoring punch I was moved to attack.   I have a good understanding of all the positions on the field except goalie.  I played box lacrosse for Penn Lax All Stars for the past 5 years and love box. When I played basketball, I was the point guard and when I played football, I was the quarterback.   I am the captain on every team that I play on.
