I have always been a really active kid, so I have tried lots of sports and activities over the years. After trying other sports such as soccer, basketball, and baseball when I was younger, I stumbled upon a learn to play clinic held by one of the youth coaches in my community. After the two-hour clinic, I was hooked. My dad and I immediately went to a friend’s house who had equipment for me to use. I began playing in fourth grade as a middie, but began working on and off as a goalie in fifth grade. I have been a dedicated goalie since my sixth-grade year. I started every game in goal during my seventh and eighth grade years. I spent a year playing travel lacrosse for Ultimate Lax Pittsburgh and have been working out with True Lacrosse Pittsburgh for the past three seasons. The high school lacrosse season during my freshman year was cancelled due to the pandemic, but I continued to work out to prepare for my sophomore season where I split time between the JV and varsity teams, earning a varsity letter and the JV MVP Award.
In addition to playing lacrosse, I am active in my high school as a member of student council for the last three years as Member-At-Large. I am a member of the stage crew for our school plays and a manager for the marching band. I have also been involved in Cub Scouts and then Boy Scouts since I was in first grade. Recently, I was awarded with the rank of Eagle Scout at the age of sixteen.
In my personal time I have been very interested in computers and coding for many years. My goal is to attend college to play lacrosse as well as earn a degree in computer science or other computer related area.
