My name is Andrew Rawlings, I am 18 years old and play at Riverbend High School in Spotsylvania, Virginia. I have played for around eight years and loved every minute. I have been playing defense and LSM for about five of the seven years. I have attended many camps, practice at home often, and am always looking for new ways to improve my game. I was one of only two freshman on the varsity team after being bumped up from a captain position on the JV team. During the 2019 spring season, I was selected for the 2nd team All Region.
While I love lacrosse, I balance my love of the sport with strong academic discipline including AP and advanced classes and extracurricular activities. During the off-season, I enjoy surfing and running cross-country. In the summer, I volunteer as a counselor at a 4-H camp and at a local food bank. I also run a successful mowing business. In addition, I enjoy playing the piano and writing music.
In college I plan to study engineering or business.
