Zach Ferris '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Zach and I've been playing lacrosse since 6th grade. I've been in travel club lacrosse consistently for the past 6 years - year round.  I played 3 years with Devil Dogs in Dexter MI, 1 year with Wolverine Warriors in Ann Arbor MI, 1 year with Blue Crew True Lacrosse MI, and this year I'm traveling with Legends Lacrosse in Lake Country WI.  I've played in two championship games throughout the summer, but unfortunately lost in both.  I'm currently playing for Arrowhead High School in Hartland, WI and got MVP Defensive player of the year.  We were division Champions this year too.  Before this year in WI I played for 2 other school in MI:  Skyline High School in Ann Arbor, MI and before that Dexter High School in Dexter, MI.  I moved a lot and it was tough but I worked through all the adversity and managed to maintain a 3.9 cumulative GPA.   I'd be a great candidate for a great lacrosse program because I've been coached by so many coaches over the years and do very well for them all. I've learned about different coaching styles and have adapted very well to all of them. I also never give up. I work hard at everything I do and give it 100% effort. I'm committed to earning an academic scholarship and playing college lacrosse for a great team. My plan is to attend 4 years of undergrad and earn a degree in the sciences then transfer to med school.
