When I began rowing in my Sophomore year, I quickly realized that this was something I was passionate about. I have always enjoyed the outdoors, having been a Boy Scout and now an Eagle Scout, I grew up camping, fishing and boating. Rowing gives me the opportunity to experience the outdoors, being on the water, while providing an exhilarating workout and a competitive team experience. I’m looking forward to attending college where I can develop academically, and compete at a higher level, a college that I can call home and a student body that I can call family. Rowing Crew has shown me the possibilities that I possess and has driven me to work harder.
