Ezekiel Sorensen '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ezekiel Sorensen, and I am a sophomore in high school.  If you have met me, you know I am passionate about soccer. Soccer has been a huge part of my life since I was 3 years old. I have been playing soccer with Phoenix Rising ECNL 07 team for the past four seasons, and my team made it to the ECNL Nationals in the 2022-2023 season. My main positions have been defensive as a left/right center back; however, I am a versatile player and have played at the defensive mid, left wing, and forward position. No matter the position I am placed in, I try to give 110% to support my team. My strengths include a high passing accuracy, one-on-one defending, the timing of full speed tackle face-to-face, and winning aerial duels.  I excel in my high school courses due to my dedication and perseverance which I learned on the field, and I have a strong interest in STEM related courses, such as math and engineering.  My future endeavor is to play soccer at the collegiate level and make a difference on the college field.
