Braxton Montgomery '25 Recruiting Profile

What separates me from other recruits is that I enjoy school, soccer and the process of learning.  I understand there are no short cuts.  I believe my mental approach is to always work hard like I am the best on the pitch.  From the practices with the U17 or U19's to the first team USL practices I get the privilege to participate, I go out there and give maximum effort so I can get better.   In addition, I was taught play where your coach and your team needs you. Some games it is hard to go play a position we need due to injuries or speed match ups but I feel satisfied when I can make a contribution.  I am different because I have played Center Back, the 6, the 8, the 9 & 10 and fullback. I don't just say I will do what's best for the team I actually do what's best for the team. I enjoy winning most of all, and I try beat every team no matter if it is a U17 MLS Next Team or the Portland Timbers.
