Andre Melgoza '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andre Melgoza . I am a senior playing for Highland High School in Bakersfield, California. My GPA is a 4.125. I was also voted my Highschool captain this year, as well as winning the CIF Central Section with my High School for their first time in their men’s soccer program history .

I am looking for a college that has both an academically and athletically excellent program. I have been playing Soccer since I was 5 years old on different clubs, enjoying and learning from my coaches how to improve on every practice and every game.  I plan to give my all, all the time to reach this lofty goal. I have quick feet and great passing skills. Along with that, I am a team leader and try to set an example for the rest of my peers, on and off the field. I am a great encourager and try to offer positive motivation to my teammates as well.

My Family and I arrived to this country on 2016, since then, I have been a  Honor Roll student completing AP and Honor classes. My goal, during my senior year, is to do my best as soccer player and student I can be and earn a scholarship playing the game I love. I know I have the experience, drive, discipline, and commitment to excel on the field and in the classroom.

I look forward to earning the opportunity to play for a great Soccer program and receiving an excellent college education.
