My aspiration is for my college years to help me self-improve and set a path towards achieving my full potential academically. I am ready and willing to face new challenges in school in order to earn my degree in business and being able to play college-level soccer. I take what I do seriously and will always give 100 percent towards what I seek to accomplish.
What makes me a good candidate for the team is that I strive to be a better competitor each time I step foot out on the field and that I push myself to the limit. I have strong morals and values and consider myself a confident leader on and off the field.
I am a dynamic player with strong characteristics that distinguish me from any other ordinary high schooler. Presently, I am a captain for the varsity soccer team which I have been playing with since my freshman year which is why I understand the importance of a quality leader. Outside of high school, I play for an academy known as Total Futbol Academy (TFA) that has helped me perform exceptionally. When performing for both teams, I play a role as a defensive player such as center-back, center defensive mid-fielder, and outside defender. Playing these different defense positions has made me understand soccer as a team sport, that is why I influence myself and my teammates by staying positive and always having a winning mentality.
What makes me different is that I am a humble athlete who acknowledges the contributions of other athletes, as no athlete accomplishes anything on their own. I am determined to continue to work towards my goals as a student-athlete.
