Soccer has been a part of my life as far as I could remember. Whether it be AYSO, club, high school or practicing in my back yard, I've always found joy in playing the beautiful game. I was fortunate enough to be part of an amazing program since the age of eight, at Golden State Academy. It is where I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, and sacrifice. Those same values hold true in every aspect of my life. I am also fortunate to have parents who are both educators, teach me to prioritize the importance of academics
When I first began playing soccer, my coaches would always put me at Forward to utilize my athleticism. Although this was the case, I would always drift back to playing defense. There was something about wanting to shut down the other team's best scorer, that made me enjoy this game and fuel my love of playing defense. Once my coaches realized this, I've played Center Back ever since. Over the years I have honed my craft and have become a vocal leader on and off the field. My dream is to play Center Back at the highest level and one day teach this beautiful game to others. I am searching for the perfect college program to help me attain these goals as a student-athlete.
