Karim Yowkeem '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Karim Yowkeem, born in 2005, grew up in Egypt where everybody around me is crazy about soccer, joined my first practice when I was three years old and since that date, I believe that I born to be a soccer player and live in the eighteen where I enjoy scoring my goals and destroy defenders plans. My family decided to move to the USA in 2013 and joined AYSO of my city of Irvine California and also different club teams till I am now playing the Liverpool premiere team striker.

During my long soccer journey I used to constantly pursue excellence on and off the field, I always believe that I would not be able to reach my goals without hard work and as a student-athlete, I put all effort into any game I play or anything I do! 

I always feel that soccer is the air I breathe and everything in my daily life activity is related somehow to soccer starting from following up premiere league, European leagues, and of course, the world cups and any international competition, the soccer life I live is giving me the knowledge of all aspects of the game like tactics, formation, physical, rules which makes me mastering not only the fundamentals of the game but also the professional level. 

I have faith that soccer is about physical fitness and technical moves, that is why I am mostly inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo who isn’t just a normal soccer player for me but my hero and my strong motive not to stop trying and working hard, also Mo Salah who I am proudly holding his no 11 on my soccer jersey and I am dreaming one day to achieve may be better than they did! 

I strongly believe that success is one package and my goal of being a professional athlete cannot be achieved without the hard work inside the classroom, however, I am the kind of persons who need to feel my blood flowing and my body moving to be able to study and obtain a good grade. 

During my freshmen year I used to play school soccer, football, swimming, club soccer also got an A in my AP summer course, however, I maintained my good grade during the whole year, also when I moved to the 10^th grade I played both soccer and football varsity plus my soccer club team.

Through my very busy schedule, I didn’t forget the extra curriculum activities and as I am an outdoor person and love challenges I become a star rank scout and planning to be and prepare for my eagle project eagle, being a successful scout makes me learned a lot about leadership and how to lead a group of people safely and that has a great effect on me on the field and I can say that my leadership personality, competitive spirit and the passion that I bring to the game and my teammates make me a good fit for your esteemed college.

As a young adult athlete, I always inspired to be a colleague soccer player and I would appreciate taking a look at my footage videos in my profile and I would be so happy to join your extraordinary soccer college team.
