Colton Dietrich '22 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to become a multi sport athlete in college playing soccer and footbal. I distance myself from my competition by pushing myself and my team mates hard to achieve our goals. As a captain of my high school varsity team and my club team I try and bring out the best performance possible of my teammates   As a leader I push myself to not only make myself better but to make my teammates better on and off the field. Words that best describe me are Loyalty, Perseverance, Attitude, and Energetic. 

-I have been playing soccer for 13 years

-I became a goalkeeper at 8

-I made all-stars 3 years in a row when playing Rec

-Transferred to club team in 2015 after feeling I had moved beyond rec.  My first year with Crusaders my team won our division

-My Crusaders team move up to flight 1 after 1st year.

-After the Crusaders team disbanded I tried out for San Diego Surf and was offered a position on their A team. I practiced with them for a while but the team never took off because of the fluctuating regulations caused by covid.

-I have been playing Varsity soccer for El Capitan Highschool since my freshman year.

-My sophomore year I decided to go out for football and made the Varsity team as a place kicker.  I am now in my 3rd year playing varsity football.
