Jordan Dorn '11 Recruiting Profile

I have always been one of the bigger and stronger players on my team standing 6 foot 3" and weighing 205 lbs. I have been playing goalkeeper at the club level since I was 9 years old and have evolved a lot as a player and a person from these experiences. Over the last few years my previous team won several tournaments including Region IV in 2008 and finishing 3rd in the nation, Dallas Cup 2009, Surf Cup 2009, in these three tournaments combined I let in 6 goals in 18 games playing both halves of each of these games. Many of my teammates from this team are 1992 and are part of strong Division college teams as freshman. Last year I played on the Real So Cal younger Academy team and I helped them get to the playoffs in North Carolina. This year I was invited to play for the highly regarded Arsenal FC Academy team (17/18). I grew up in Southern California so I would be comfortable staying in my home state but I am an adventurous person so I would also enjoy the experience of something new and different. I am open minded about the size of the university that I attend but I would like to be near a major city. My goal is to find a college where I receive an excellent education and play the sport that I love. I see myself making a major impact for the team once I am given this opportunity.
