While in college I would like to find out who I truly am and what I would aspire to be as a young adult. I’m a person who enjoys being challenged both academically and athletically. I’m not completely sure of what area of study I would like to pursue, but I’m looking for a place that can help me discover that. My favorite subjects are science, math and history. In the classroom I tend to really thrive with good teachers. I’m an intelligent guy and with the correct guidance I know I could excel in any course that I enjoy and have a passion for. At this point in time I’m interested in majors in Law, Business and Finance.
Since I can remember I’ve been independent and a self starter at the same time I really like being part of a team. I like working with my teammates and coaches on the same goals and being able to share the experiences with them. I think I’m a strong candidate for any college soccer team because I have the perfect culmination of traits that add up to a great center defender. I am quite tall, but unlike many other tall players I’m very quick, tough and have good ball control. I have a very good soccer IQ because I used to play striker which made me much better with my feet as well as gave me a perspective on what a striker wants to do in order to get past a defender. I know how they think, therefore giving me a more competitive edge than a normal defender. My passing skills are excellent and I’m a leader on the field. A center back with all of those traits is not very common and I am sure I would make a great addition to any team.
