Parker Connor '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Parker Connor, and I am a senior at Palisades Charter High School in Pacific Palisade, California. My collegiate goals are to go to a four year University and be a member of the dive team. I love being a part of a team, from training, competing and making life long friends with my teammates. I want to study Graphic Design and Costume Design to hopefully work in the film industry one day. 

To follow are some of my athletic accomplishments: 

- At age 9 & 10: Qualified as one of the top 100 gymnasts in the country to test for the US Tops National Gymnastics Training Camp. This was at the U.S. National Training Center. 

- 2017: I was a level 8, Region One Champion, on the balance beam.

- 2020: I scored as one of the Top 100 Gymnasts in the country on balance beam as well.

- This last season I was awarded with the most improved diver for my high school team. 

Here are some things that make me unique:

1. I have 11 years of gymnastics training and 9 years of high-level competition and performance. I ended my gymnastics career at training level 10 before transitioning to dive.

2.  I am a strong listener and take direction well. You will not find a harder worker. I am hungry to learn new skills and while competitive, I am a team player.

3.  I am extremely dedicated to my sport and when I set my mind to learning a new skill, I am determined and will follow through until I fully execute it.
