Breton Buckley '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Breton Buckley Jr. I am a center back playing soccer at San Diego Surf Soccer Club Boys 06 ECRL and Varsity soccer at San Diego High School. I competed in the Mundialito tournament in early 2018 in Salou, Spain. I competed with San Diego Surf and made it to the semi-finals of the bronze division. In late 2018, I trained with Wospac in Barcelona, which is an international sports academy where you eat, sleep, and have access to school. As well as, being able to train with UE Cornella teams and play against other top Spanish clubs. Right after training with Wospac, I spent 3 weeks training with the Barcelona youth academy Sant Cugat. I value my work rate, leadership/communication, tackling, and passing. I bring my team up when heads fall, encourage when those make mistakes, and value the team over myself. I am interested in general economics and business and aspire to play Division 1 soccer.
