Hi, my name is Nick Northrop. I am a Spring 2022 graduate from Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep in San Francisco. Now 18, I play forward and outside back for the San Francisco Glens U19 MLS Next team. I am often expected to use my pace in wide areas for our side at both ends of the pitch.
I grew up around the sport of soccer and have been playing the game since I can remember. Over the years, I have consistently been promoted: from the bench to the field, from the 2nd team to the 1st team, and from lower league to higher league - to get to where I am today. I have always overcome adversity and then risen to the level of play and beyond. I am looking to take my career much further.
At present, I am planning on taking a gap year and playing abroad. I have played overseas multiple times including tournaments in Spain, Denmark, Sweden, and Mexico. I played against Barcelona FC in a futsal tournament once. We didn’t win that match, but I grew. I am open to entering in the Fall of 2023 or 2024 with the right program, one where the school and the soccer coaches are keen to invest in me, as I am determined to invest in my future.

- Attended prestigious tournament in Barcelona, Spain. Faced top clubs from Spain and Brazil, like Barcelona CF and Los Santos De Brazil. Coach Antonio Medina.
- 2018 SF Elite Academy (NPL 1)
- Coach Tom Atencio. Nick promoted to 1st team after Fall season. Then in the Spring of same year, finished top of the table and won promotion to NPL 1 with Nick a major contributor.
