Orlando Popkin '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a creative midfielder who excels in using my vision and long passing quality to create scoring chances. I am suited to playing a tiki taka/possession style because of my quick decision making and awareness, but I also love a more direct style of play where I can receive the ball, turn and play a forward in behind with just two or three touches. 

I have never been the biggest kid on the team so I was forced to learn from a young age how to use my body against bigger opponents. I had to use my brain on the field and quickly learned how to take up good positions both offensively and defensively.

I am co-captain of my NPL club and as a sophomore I was captain of my high school JV team. I have a high GPA and I am looking for a good academic school with a high quality and competitive soccer environment.
