Akira Yoshida '24 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goal is to attend a Division 1 or 3 college, where I aspire to earn either academic or athletic scholarship. As an international student who arrived in the United States just three years ago, I bring a unique skill set to the table, including fluency in Japanese that could make me a good candidate for their team.

In addition, I have an ability on the soccer field, playing at both the ECNL level with my club team and on the Varsity team at my high school. Through my hard work and dedication, I have achieved remarkable success, including winning championship titles in both cup and league competitions with a team that is one grade above me.

Despite the challenges of acquiring new language, I have maintained an 3.6 GPA throughout my high school career. While I recognize that my English skills are not yet at the level I aspire to, I am confident in my ability to continue to improve my knowledge.
