My name is Baylen Ponte, and I am currently half way through my Junior year at Lincoln High School in Stockton, CA. I've been playing soccer since I was 5 years old and have developed into a smart player with a great understanding of the game. In my recent years of development I have improved my physical and athletic capabilities by taking on cross country and strength training. My efforts have earned me a starting spot on the Elk Grove 07 Elite Academy/NPL team at the position of center mid, where I led our team to the Semi-finals (top 4) at the Elite Academy National Championships in Dallas, TX this summer. I am working my way to playing soccer at a competitive level in college, preferably at a school that also accommodates my other career aspirations like writing, art, and teaching.
