My name is Amur Chekhoev and my goal is to find a college that suits both my athletic and academic goals. I have always wanted to take my athletic career as far as possible. I was born and grew up in Russia where I started playing on the local academy team. At age 14 I moved to United States where I started playing for Real Colorado. I was struggling with understanding how the process works and at the age 17 I have joined the ECRL team then worked my way up to ECNL, after that I was working even more to earn a spot on MLS Next team and that where I’m at right now. In less then in a year I got moved up from ECRL team to MLS Next and as right now I’m working hard to earn permanent starting spot on MLS Next. Moreover I was working har academically as well because when I moved to U.S. I didn’t know English. I was really struggling with the school. But worked hard to get my grades fixed and my junior year I’ve been getting good grades 1 semester GPA 3.5 and 2 semester 3.8 now I have tools and succeed to raise my GPA . My goal is to play college soccer at very high competitive level. Always wanted to challenge myself and get better step by step.
