James Mohan '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is James Mohan. I am currently a sophomore enrolled in State College of Florida Collegiate School on the Venice Campus. I play right full back for FC Sarasota on the U17 boys 2007 team. My team competes in the FYSA/USA Division 1 and the NPL. I have dreamed of playing professional soccer for many years now and looking forward to taking another step towards that goal by playing in college.

The one attribute that I would like to highlight for you is my work ethic on and off the field. As a student my day is taken up with classes. I practice with my team three nights a week, and we have games on the weekend. I also work during the evenings and weekends as a referee for competitive and recreational soccer matches. When I am not working or practicing, I look for volunteer opportunities to give back to the community. Some of these activities include reading and working with k-5 students at a local elementary school, coaching and mentoring recreational soccer youth boys and girls, and helping with local charity events setting up and breaking down.

Through all of this I maintain a 4.0 GPA (4.6 weighted). I am on track to graduate with my high school diploma and my AA from SCF in 2026. In the 2024/2025 school year, I will be fully enrolled in college course at SCF where i will be earning credit for college and high school at the same time. I pride myself on never missing school or practice. I believe in 100% effort all the time and I bring that work ethic with me in everything I do.
