Personal Statement
I want to play soccer at a DI or DIII program and achieve the best education in Math, Econ or Finance possible. I am a producer on the left side of the field because of my speed (10.9 - 100m / 22.8 - 200m), 6'2" frame, and my dominate left foot. While I play forward at present, I have experience at Mid and have played Left Back for most of my career. Last school season I scored five goals and had nine assists while playing a combination of left back and left forward. This season I have four assists and three goals in seven games as forward, and played Left Defender during these games as well to strengthen our left-side defense - earning All Miami-Dade Honors at forward. In short, I can play comfortably anywhere on the left side of the field. I also the Varsity Men's Track Team Captain and am 5th in my region for the 100 Meter Dash. Regarding academics, Ransom is a strong prep school with a great academic reputation across all university admissions offices - and my strong subject is math, where I am two years ahead of my peers, taking AP Calculus CD as a Junior. I scored a 1500 SAT and will have 8 APs when I graduate. My biggest academic accomplishment will be to take every AP or honors math course offered at Ransom HS by the end of my senior year. In summary, I am a contributor both academically and on the field, and I want to be part of a college soccer program because I love the game.
