My goal as a soccer player is to not only improve my game but more importantly to do what I can to improve the team I am on. Soccer isn't just something I do to pass time. I enjoy every minute I play and train to be the best I can. That is why I want to play college soccer. I believe I have the work ethic and persistence to play at this high level. What makes me different from other recruits is that I know things won't just be handed to me and refuse to complain when it seems things aren't going my way. I know that I will have to work for every minute I play. Not only do I refuse to give up, but I try to lead on the field by example. I'm seen as someone that can communicate with both players and coaches to express the needs of my team. Along with my ability, I am composed and cool on the field. This provides a calming presence for the players around me and allows the team to play at its best. As a student, I thrive for success as well. My failures on the field make me a better player just as mistakes in the classroom make me a better student.
