My name is Bryson Clarke and I play for the Jacksonville Futbol Club (JFC) at the MLS NEXT level. I began playing soccer when I was three years old and have loved it ever since. My goals ever since I was young, have been to play at the collegiate level and eventually the professional level. Currently, I play the position of an outside back (both left and right) and right-center back, however, I have played different positions including center midfielder and have played on both sides of the wing.
As a defensive player, I have learned to read and see the plays before happening and a way of seeing the whole field and finding solutions to problems throughout the game. With communication, I can guide teammates to better their positioning and manage the game. Some of the stronger attributes I have in soccer are performing well in 1v1 defending, athleticism, technical abilities, performing well with my dominant foot and strong playing out of the back, communication, managing the game with a leadership role, and my ability to read the game with a strong soccer IQ as well slowing the game down and speeding the game up when needed.
I am in the 2024 graduating class and I attend Providence School of Jacksonville. I have a 4.04 GPA and am currently enrolled in Advanced Placement (AP) classes, Dual Enrollment college classes, and Honors courses. Every year during my high school years, I have maintained only grades of A’s and B’s in all of my classes. I am also currently a member of the National Honor Society (NHS) and NHS Chaplin for my school.
