Personal Statement

I have played soccer since I was 4 years old.  I have always loved the sport.  When life has been tough, soccer has been the place where I feel happy.  I look forward to going to church on Wednesday evenings.  Attending weekly Bible study helps to keep me focused on the type of person I want to become.  I love to laugh and have fun with my friends and family.  

One of my personal goals this high school season is to lead my school varsity team to win its first district championship since 2007.  I was the leading scorer on my varsity team.  Another goal is to help my club team to advance to the State Cup finals.  Last season we made it to the sweet 16.  A very important attribute that I believe every player should possess whether winning or losing is perseverance.  I strive to exemplify this at all levels.  Every game, every practice, and every training I give 100%.  I can't imagine my life without soccer.
