Personal Statement
I was two years old when I first started playing soccer. Having been born in Venezuela and living in a small town, my earliest and happiest memories center around this sport. The first time I ever touched a ball was playing Futsal, this sort allowed me to become a very versatile player. Due to my versatility, my coaches were able to use me in multiple positions. What I did not know, I learned. What I was weak in, I practiced until it became a strength. Since I learned Futsal at such a young age, I became more agile in small spaces, which allowed for easier problem solving when it was time to play soccer.
In 2019, I moved from Venezuela to the United States due to political issues. I began high school in the United States and immediately tried out for the Varsity Team. Last year, I was selected for the 2005 International Futsal Team and got the opportunity to travel to Spain and play there. I currently play Varsity Highschool with American Heritage and club soccer a year up with Weston FC u19 reserves (UPSL, USL Academy, Sunshine conference and State Cup). When I can play, I play. I consider myself a very successful person inside and outside the classroom. My goal is to attend a top Academic school while still paying soccer and futsal. As an athlete I hope to become a better player, and ultimately a better person through my efforts.
