Hello Coaches,
I am just a kid from Gwinnett County, Georgia. This place isn't really known for being a soccer inflicting community. It has been a rough ride to where I am now. I wasn't really helped with the sport of soccer. I started to gain interest in the sport at around ten years old. Ever since I decided to make soccer my main focus as a career, I haven't given up on this dream. I moved to a school that gave me that chance to play soccer, Georgia-Cumberland Academy. My first year there I didn't make the cut. This gave me even more fire to add into my game and gave me motivation to push myself as an athlete. My second year at this high school I made the team, but I didn't quite play my position. I started off as a bench player and I played defense. This was the reason why I started to change the way I practiced and made me up my performance times two. My third year at this high school, I made the team and I made it as a striker, my natural position. This gave me the sense of achievement. In all 25 games I scored 7 goals and finished 3rd top goal scorer of the team, but first Junior top goal scorer, both 1st and 2nd top goal scorers were Seniors. I feel like I have learned a lot throughout the way. I know what losing feels like, I know what winning feels like, but most importantly I know what achievement and discipline feels like. My character builds up on failure, but that failure is a fire that burns me and urges me to bring out my best. Every single minute of the game, I give it my all. Not just on the field, but in a classroom as well. I do my part in order to stay on the team and not let my teammates down. Discipline and commitment is what I run on.
