Luke Mcclain '26 Recruiting Profile

    Hello my name is Luke McClain and I am a Sophomore at Morgan County High School, Madison, Ga. I am looking for a college that will help me further my soccer career at the highest level possible, while also receiving a quality education. My primary position is as an attacking midfield ‘10’. However I am very versatile and can also play as a defensive mid ‘6’ and even as an outside back. One of my strengths is winning balls from the air, and bringing them down with a clean touch. A key aspect of my game is my vision, making me very dangerous all over the field, whether it is slipping a teammate in the box for a shot, or playing a cross field pass to break the pressure. Another thing that sets me apart from other players is my leadership. On the field I have a large presence that influences my teammates and encourages them. I am also not afraid to take charge in the critical moments. Not only am I a vocal leader, but I also lead by example with my work ethic. Any challenge that arises I am always up to face it, with the best attitude, with the highest degree of effort. I am looking for a school that will support me academically and athletically and I believe that these key attributes will help me excel in the classroom, as well as on the field.
