Personal Statement

I have had several highlights in my soccer career these past few years.  I helped to lead my high school to their first Regional title in School history.  I set the school career scoring record, last year as a Junior, and have been named All-Sectional each of the past 3 high school seasons, and been named to the Best of the Preps each of the last 2 high school seasons.  I was also honored to be named Capital Region All-Star Preps Soccer Player of the Year at the 2019 banquet.  My club team made it all the way to the Final of the President’s Cup Midwest Regionals in 2019.  Last year,  I also played in the Final of the USA Cup - Gold Division - but came up just short and finished in 2nd place.  These experiences have helped me to understand what it takes to be a top-flight player and has pushed me to work even harder to be the best goal-scorer, and teammate, that I can be.

I have been fortunate enough to play for some outstanding coaches who have stressed teamwork, commitment, and hard-work.  They have given me the knowledge to gain a full understanding of the game of soccer and my role as a player.  Academically, I am ranked 1st in my class and currently have a 4.34/4.00 GPA.  I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me academically and athletically, and one where I can study Physical Therapy.  I believe that I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but also the ability to make a difference.  I have excelled at all that I do through my work-ethic, leadership, and overall character.  I know that I have what it takes to succeed athletically and academically in college and I know that I can make a difference and be a leader on a college squad.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
