Personal Statement

I am looking for a school with an exceptional academic reputation and an extraordinary level of soccer. A school which will help build my character and provide the best opportunity to reach all of my future goals. I envision college to be a time of personal growth and development. As a goalkeeper, I am a strong communicator who will take charge and bring energy to the team. I lead by example and conduct myself in a respectable manner on and off the field.

I attend Burlington Central High School just outside of Elgin, IL where I am an honors student involved in Service Club, Spanish Honor Society and recently elected as a Peer Leader for my junior year. In addition to my challenging academic schedule, playing academy level soccer with Sockers FC has taught me to be independent, organized as well as having a very good work ethic.
