Ever since I started playing soccer at age 4, I instantly had a connection to the sport and began to love it. I played recreational soccer for 3 years at the local club before trying out for the travel team. I instantly started to excel in the sport, and as I grew older I quit other sports to be able to apply all of my energy to soccer.
I always wanted to play a professional sport as a kid but until I was 12 years old I did not know that I wanted to play soccer. I also realized that the chances of me making it to the pros was slim, but that playing college soccer was a very good possibility. I want to play soccer at a college that both challenges my athletics and academics. I am a very competitive person in all that I do. I hate losing more than I love winning, and I think this is a very great asset of mine because it shows my drive to be the best and not taking second place.
I have great strength and leadership skills, and I am always a presence on the field. I lead by example and try to bring the best out of my teammates. I ultimately hope to play college soccer at a high level and be challenged academically. I want soccer to be part of my life in some way for the rest of my life.
