My parents immigrated to the United States when I was five years old so from a very young age I had faced many life's obstacles. I had to quickly adapt to an alien environment, different culture and new school. I had to learn a new language and make new friendships. This has impacted my childhood and shaped me into a strong person that I am today.
Throughout the years of middle and high school I advanced in many higher level classes and showed good results. I especially enjoy college computer courses and am eager to advance my skills in Excel, Word, Access and other Microsoft applications. I also take business courses and show interest in entrepreneurship, college business and AP Economics. I've been always very passionate about business world and have a dream to run my own business one day. I am anxious to learn and gain new skills that will help me to be successful at running a business.
I am also taking Leadership courses through services (LTS) where we help out the community and learn to lead by example. Most recently, my team and I went to collect cereal boxes for the food pantry. Within this class I have learned many great leadership skills and qualities to help set me up for the real world. I love interacting with peers so I look forward to learning and helping lead others to success.
