Evan Dawson '19 Recruiting Profile

Every opportunity I have to improve I take and am proactive in my success.   This year has proven that.  I started the season as a left wing but soon found that I am the type of player the coaches move according to where I am needed the most. This is based on my aggressiveness, ability to adapt quickly and speed.  If we are playing a strong offensive team I am a defensive player.  Whether this be midfield or sweeper I am protecting and dropping if necessary to assist the goalie.   If we need to score I am striker or offensive midfielder. I am versatile enough to play left or right side and I carry one of the highest assist records this year. If one of my teammates is injured I move to cover their position.  This has given me the opportunity to not only improve my skills but to also become more aware of the field as a whole and to provide my team with the support they need to be successful.
