Carter Formea '21 Recruiting Profile

I grew up playing soccer for my local club team, SASA Spirits. I branched out to an additional club team, Central Illinois United (CIU) my freshman year of high school. Additonally, I played high school soccer (Varsity team since freshman year) at Springfield High School (SHS). I am a good candidate for collegiate ball because I have great field vision and am a very vesatile player. I grew up playing midfield, and trasitioned to center back for CIU and SHS. Currently I play u-19 for SASA and play all positions on the field. 

My GPA is a 4.9 on a 4.0 scale. I am an honors student in all dual credit or AP classes. I am active in my church youth group and grew up working at my families farm, that work ethic I was taught has carried over to the soccer field and my academics. My ACT score, which I have only taken once, is a  28.
