Being a leader on and off the field is something that has always come natural to me. Both my high school and club coaches know they can count on me to be a good role model for my teammates, and that is why I am a captain of both my high school varsity and club teams.
As a 3 sport athlete, I have developed a strong work ethic, and I am passionate about winning. I play with a lot of aggression, yet I am focused on staying composed. Utilizing my speed to take players on 1v1 makes me a difference maker, and I believe that is why I can make an immediate impact at the college level.
Winning 3rd place at State my Sophomore year was a great accomplishment; however, the next year we were moved up from class 1A to 2A, which is a great challenge for a school of less than 250 students. In 2017, my junior year, I led my team to a 2nd place finish in the state, defeating several schools of up to 1600 students. This experience taught me that hard work and determination can help you overcome adversity.
