Personal Statement

My name is Zephyr Corbello. I am 18 years old and in my final year of school (Grade 12) in Cape Town, South Africa. I have been playing football (soccer) since I was 7 years old for my club (Meadowridge AFC). I was head-hunted to attend Wynberg Boys' High School and have been on their first team (A Team) from Grades 9 - 10. In Grade 11 after winning the "goalkeeper of the tournament" for the Dream Club 100 tournament - I was selected to train for one of the Cape Town's most prestigious professional football clubs (Cape Town City FC). Football is my passion, I would like to continue training and playing while furthering my education at an international institution.
