Personal Statement
Soccer has been my passion as long as I can remember. Being the team captain provides me with firsthand experience as a leader who is well aware of the needs of his team and the game. Both coaches who selected me independently as team captain in different clubs explained their choice with my personality and attitude on and outside the pitch.
My mental strengths are anticipation, agility, tactical and positional awareness as well as emotional control and concentration. My technical strengths are controlling the ball, safeguarding the central defense, distributing precise passes into the right zones, switching to the attacking direction and heading in air game. I usually play all games from start to end, fully committed to prevent the opponent to get past our defense line and to initiate an intelligent counter attack.
I lived in Germany for the first 13 years of my life and played there over 8 years club soccer receiving modern training methods. Besides club soccer, I have always been enjoying the game with my friends in school team competitions. And I always loved to possess as many soccer balls as possible. As a kid I even took them to bed during the night.
When my family moved from Germany to Dubai in 2016, one of my highlights was joining 'Spanish Soccer Schools' where I had the honor to be coached at the highest standards by Real Madrid legend Michel Salgado. I learned a lot from him especially developing my defensive skills and tactical understanding. By participating in several international tournaments in Europe, I make many new experiences and get to know the playing styles and skills of top teams. I am now looking forward to experiencing soccer in the USA and getting the opportunity to be chosen by a top college for the soccer team.
