My parents have always taught me that in order to be successful both on the field and in the classroom I must be dedicated. For the last 10 years I have been playing soccer. When I began playing soccer at Shawnee Mission Northwest, a competitive 6A HS, I wanted to take my skills to the next level so I began to play club soccer. During my sophomore year, I played for KC Fusion and really felt my skills improved under the guidance of my coach. This year I have the opportunity to play for a new club team through the KC Fire organization.
As a junior, I am beginning my search for colleges. It is my goal to play soccer at a college that will also allow me to earn a degree in Athletic Training. My current grade point average is 3.90. I believe that both my dedication and hard work both on the field and off will make me a good candidate for any program.
