Connor Taylor '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a hard working, competitive soccer player that enjoys being challenged.  Often recognized for my soccer IQ, technical ability, range of passing and decision making, I have had the opportunity to play for the top teams in my area.  In 2022, I was selected for the first USL Academy team of Lexington Sporting Club, where I was the youngest player.  During regular season play for Academy, I started every game and consistently played 75-90 minutes each match.  For Academy, I play the 6 and 8 position and occasionally left back.

At Henry Clay High School, I have played since I was in 7th grade, where I was a starter on the JV team and was recognized as the Offensive MVP.  As a Freshman, I was a Varsity starter and assist leader for our team. During my four years, I have been recognized as All-City First team, First Team All-District tournament and Region Tournament. 

During my soccer career, I have developed my leadership skills that has led me to serve as Captain of my Lexington Sporting Club team for the past three years and Captain for my upcoming high school season as a Junior.

I look forward to playing college soccer on a highly competitive team in a disciplined, high achieving environment.
