Personal Statement

Hi! My name's Alivia McCalister, and I'm a 5'3" Setter from Somerset, Kentucky.  

I've been playing volleyball since I was 10 years old. I hit the ground running with volleyball, and it quickly became my life and passion. I’ve had the honor of being captain of my varsity team for 4 years.  I love to be in the gym, and work hard on improving my skills and help my teammates better themselves every day. 

I'm looking for a program that is first and foremost focused on team connection and the family atmosphere. I want somewhere that will challenge me to become the best version of myself while representing something so much bigger. I feel I'd be a good candidate for a team that never lets each other settle for less and a coaching staff that loves each girl as family.
