Personal Statement
Growing up with two older brothers that played soccer, I was naturally and spiritually drawn to the sport. Since they were both outfield players, we always needed someone to play goalkeeper in the backyard. It was always me. I soon became adept at the position by training, watching professionals, etc. My biological height and long limbs allows me to reach attempts on goal with less effort as others, which puts me into a great spot when being compared to other goalkeeper candidates. And since I played field also, my touch, passing ability, and view of the game and how it needs to be influenced have all helped me to mesh into the modern sweeper keeper. Although I may seem weak based on my skinny physique, my heart, passion, and will to do whatever is necessary to win the game will dominate and make me a presence on the field.
