I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. Ever since I was old enough to recall, I have wanted to play at a higher level. I know the chance to play at the collegiate level is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I want to play college soccer after high school in hopes to continue my soccer career.
I have good field vision, strong defense, strong shot, have a high soccer IQ, and have a very high work ethic. You will always see me staying after practice or coming in on the weekend, whether it's with others, or by myself, working on dribbling, shooting, passing, etc. I am a team leader and I try to lead by example as well as helping to encourage my teammates. I am a very coachable person, and I always strive to give it my very best each and every time I touch the field.
I work year-round on my soccer skills, playing at the high school level as well as at the club level where I compete in the Maine state premier league. I am a well-rounded 3 sport athlete playing basketball and baseball as well as soccer. Outside of sports I partake in Jazz Band, Concert Band, Concert Choir, Key Club, Chess Club, and will be applying to be inducted into the National Honor Society in the 2023-24 school year. I also volunteer each year during youth soccer, at the bulldog strong basketball camp, during day of caring, and I help out during Key Club activities such as the trunk or treat and helping to prepare thanksgiving baskets.
It is very important to me to be strong in the classroom. In high school, I have made the summa cum laude on honor roll all 4 of my semesters, achieved excellence awards in 8 of my classes, and have achieved a GPA of a 4.2. Some other achievements I have earned in high school are that I have lettered in every sport in high school during every season I have participated. I have also been selected to the mountain valley conference all-star team for both basketball and soccer during my sophomore year. During the start of this high school soccer season, I was awarded captain as a junior. For my club soccer team, we won the Maine State Premier League championship, and won the Needham, Massachusetts soccer tournament during the 2023 spring season.
I would love to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom as well as on the soccer field. I am open to all options and will hopefully find the college that matches my scholarly, athletic, and personal interests. I hope to become a wonderful role model for my siblings, peers, people in my community, and make my family proud.
