I have been playing soccer as far back as I can remember and since day one, whenever I step on the field it gives me a great sense of passion, commitment, camaraderie and accomplishment. There aren’t many things in my life that can energize me the way the game of soccer does. I play organized, competitive soccer year round except for summer, taking a break to explore other avenues and interests outside of the sports world, like being a counselor and mentor at a sleep away camp in Maine.
As important as soccer is, academics come first. In school I try to replicate my sports mentality, giving it all in the classroom and leaving nothing to chance. I consider myself a well-rounded student, maintaining a high GPA, as well as a competitive, multi-sport, Varsity athlete. Playing Baseball in the Spring and Basketball in the Fall on school teams keep me in shape mentally and physically, so my mind and body are always sharp and ready for Soccer.
I have great speed and quickness, mental toughness and high soccer IQ. I have led my club team in scoring over the past several seasons and was the second-highest scorer on our Varsity team this past Fall, 2022, on which I was named MIAA All-Conference. As an ‘06 club player, I was recently recruited to play on the Coppermine Elite 64 ‘05/’04 team where I look forward to learning and developing amongst older players.
I strive to be a leader both on and off the field. On the soccer field I am an individual who plays hard from start to finish and one who encourages his teammates through the good and the bad. Off the field I am an active member, both leading and participating in groups and clubs that help make my school community better, as well as ones that help to enrich the lives of those in need outside of our academic world.
