Hi my name is Tyler Sisler and I’m a senior at Mt. Ridge High School. I have played soccer at Mt. Ridge for the past 4 years. I played for one year on the JV team and 3 years at the varsity level. I also play on a club team in my area called ASA (Allegany Soccer Alliance). My primary position is a central attacking midfielder. At this position I have the ability to create plays within a limited amount of space. I have solid individual technical skills that help me to make key plays and create scoring opportunities. I am a team player and can communicate effectively with other players and am able to anticipate a play or pass at game speed.
I was recently chosen as the Student Athlete of the Month for my area. My coach commented, “Tyler has exceptional ability with his technical skills as he is able to use both feet equally well and strikes a powerful ball with either foot.”
At the club level I have excelled at the central midfield by creating assists and by scoring most goals from outside or near the 18.
I currently have a 3.2 GPA and plan to attend college, majoring in Elementary Education. I plan to continue playing soccer at the next level and continue to develop my skills and game sense at that level.
