Jesus Ortega '22 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches,

As far back as I can remember, I have always been playing soccer, to the point where I would say I have been playing it my entire life. It's a sport that seems to come naturally to me, but that's also very important to me. My goal is to play the highest level of soccer possible, which to me, in the near term, after two more years of high school soccer, means playing in college. I enjoy learning the different styles and tactics of playing the game. In my matches I am trying to understand the game, not just play it. I've lost important matches--from playoffs to finals--but learning from these games and opponents has always been important to  me. Yes, losing matches hurt; but improving myself and growing as a player has always been one of my major goals. That and learning to win and lose with dignity.
