Ethan Simpson '22 Recruiting Profile

As I start my Senior Year of High School, I am looking forward to attending college in the Fall of 2022, and to pursue a degree in science and engineering, as well as play soccer at the collegiate level

While I am always improving, I believe my ability to manage my time and focus on priorities makes me an ideal student athlete for any college and any coach looking for an athlete who is driven to be successful both academically and athletically.

Due to all of the challenges faced during the COVID pandemic, I have had to improve both my ability to manage my priorities, and time management.  This has allowed me to better balance my time appropriately between family, school, work, and soccer (club and high school).

This fall I have a full High School soccer schedule (I was chosen to be Captain), and my club team (Paragon Futbol Academy 04, who is 3rd in the state of Maryland) will begin playing in USYS’ National League PRO league, which also includes participating in national tournaments. In addition to my athletic commitments, I will be taking an AP course, two college level courses, volunteering in my community, working, and enjoying time with my family.

While my fall athletic and academic schedule will be extremely busy, I plan to use it to help prepare me for college. I am committed to be part of a challenging academic and soccer program next fall, and I fully plan on being successful at both.
