Jacob Skoczylas '27 Recruiting Profile

I am known for my commitment, dedication and leadership on and off the field by my coaches and players. As a sophomore, I earned a starting position on Varsity playing wing back, striker, and at times center back. I am known for my speed, ability to beat defenders, my aggressiveness, and knowledge of the field. This is my 12th year playing as a starting player, and this is my 5th year playing club soccer. I am currently on the Alliance Soccer Club 2008 U17 team. I contributed to my high school team’s 2024 CMC Conference Championship, as well as the team’s success in playoffs this season. 

I am looking for a college that will benefit me academically, and further my soccer career. I believe that I not only have the talent to succeed at the college level, but the leadership skills, heart, dedication and love for the sport. This is why I believe I will be a significant player in a college program. In addition to soccer, I was a successful and dedicated wrestler, and am currently a member of our Unified Bocce program. I am a high honors scholar athlete, and I know I have what it takes to be an asset to a college team.
